Anam completed her Bachelors of Physiotherapy in India in 2012 and her Masters in 2014. Since then, she has worked in a hospital and in out-patient care. She came to Canada and finished her licensing exam to become a Registered Physiotherapist in 2018.

Since childhood, she has seen how Doctors help people get better. Through this, she developed immense respect for them and decided to choose a field that involves deep knowledge of how the body works. Since then she has had a practice in Kerrisdale working side by side with Drs and other colleagues, assisted patients in intermediate care facilities with Parkinson’s, MS and Alzheimers, and helped heal patients after debilitating MVAs over the last 24yrs. Nimisha completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from India in 2014 and worked in 2 super multispeciality hospitals for 4 years. She had exposure to a wide variety of disease conditions, pre and post op physiotherapy and aerobic fitness training. Palvir earned her Diploma in Massage Therapy, graduating in April 2022 at CDI College. She had the privilege of being taught by some renowned practitioners/ massage therapists. Palvir likes to combine the knowledge she has gained with her strong desire to help people heal and understand the importance of a healthy body. She believes optimal healing is done mentally and physically which can be achieved from massage therapy.

Palvir works with a variety of patients to achieve their personal goals. She cares for her patients and wants to get to know them to create the perfect plan. During the session Palvir does a thorough assessment so she can dictate what modalities would be the best fit for the patient. Some techniques Palvir incorporates during treatment are joint mobilizations, soft tissue manipulation, myofascial work and deep tissue work. She works with clients who work in hard labor, people dealing with post MVA injuries, sprains/strains, postnatal work to help moms get back to their normal activities of daily living, and healing any scar tissue.

Palvir had the opportunity to do practicum at a student clinic where she worked with many pathologies like MS, Fibromyalgia, and disc herniation. She also had the chance to go to an out-reach at a Senior Home where she worked with seniors helping with their underlying conditions and mobility restrictions.
