He embarked on this journey by obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver. At UBC, Dr. Shamei distinguished himself not only in academics, where he was honored with the esteemed Trek Excellence Scholarship, but also in his extracurricular engagements. He actively participated in various sports and exemplified leadership as the president of the Gamma Sigma Alpha academic honors society, underscoring his dedication to both community involvement and academic excellence.

In his quest for deeper knowledge and specialized skills, Dr. Shamei chose the University of Western States (UWS) in Portland, a hub for advanced health sciences education. His academic journey at UWS was marked by significant achievements: he earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, a Masters in Sports Medicine, and a Doctorate in Chiropractic, graduating with the highest accolades, Summa Cum Laude. This period was characterized by intensive clinical patient care experience and hands-on sports medicine practice, including providing on-field care at local sporting events such as wrestling, football, and basketball tournaments. These experiences were instrumental in sharpening his practical skills and understanding of patient care in diverse settings.

Dr. Shamei’s patient care philosophy is anchored in a comprehensive, evidence-based approach. He skillfully combines various treatment modalities, including chiropractic manipulative therapy, soft tissue treatments, cupping therapy, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), muscle release techniques, Ultrasound, IFC, and shockwave. Anmol Chhabra is currently pursuing an RMT diploma at CDI College in South Surrey. Their journey into the world of bodywork began with a deep interest in wellness and a passion for helping others feel their best. As an RMT student, Anmol has had the privilege of working with over 50 patients at the student clinic, focusing on stress relief, client care, and therapeutic techniques such as Swedish and deep tissue massage. Their goal is to create a comfortable and healing space for every client, offering a place where they can unwind and experience true relaxation.

Originally from Abbotsford, Anmol balances their studies with a role as a Sales Advisor at Costco. Outside of school and work, they enjoy exploring new fitness routines and staying active. Dedicated to continually improving their skills and knowledge, Anmol strives to provide the best care possible while working toward becoming a fully licensed RMT.
