Massage Therapy has shown me how our community can take back control of bodily pain & discomfort they are feeling. Through my student experience at Vancouver Career College, I have become confident in myself to help those around me by offering help through my treatments that are centered for you and your pain tolerance.

Physical activity and health has incorporated itself naturally into my life through my understanding of functional and mechanical anatomy. With that, Patient progression has brought a fulfillment to my day-to-day life that has directly impacted my unlimited desire to continue acquiring new information, and implementing it to my patients.

My treatments are relaxation centered while also using direct techniques like PNF, stretching, and assisted movements to reduce pain or imbalances in the body. Stress is a large factor in most of our lives so I believe it’s my duty to educate my patients on way they can reduce their stress at home while also targeting areas of the body that need to be worked on in order for my patients to gain optimal function.

Liang is an excellent Registered Massage Therapist & RMT Instructor and was a Medical Doctor in China. His journey as a health care provider began outside of Canada, where he worked as a surgeon for many years including a three years fellowship in family medicine, a two years in thoracic surgery and a six years in cardiovascular surgery. His vast knowledge of medicine compliments his training as a RMT to provide more comprehensive and effective treatment to the clients. He found that most of the soft tissue issues in our body relate to the working posture, daily habits and the brain even, and then he combined the contemporary Swedish massage techniques and the traditional Chinese Tai Chi wellness ideas together in his treatment. It produced lots satisfactory treatment results in the clinical setting.

It is an interesting thing for him to teach massage therapy in Vancouver Career College and instruct martial art & meditation as a volunteer in some facilities in his spare time. He hopes more people can get benefits from these meaningful activities.
